CALUMET CO. (NBC 26) — Public health officials in Oconto County said the community will be able to call to schedule a COVID-19 vaccination appointment starting Monday, March 8 at 9 a.m.
According to the Oconto Co. Public Health website, appointments will only be accepted for the following groups of people:
- Frontline health care workers
- Police officers
- Firefighters
- Correction officers
- Adults age 65 and older
If you fit into one of these populations, call (920) 834-6846 starting at 9 a.m. on Monday to schedule a vaccine appointment.
Occonto Co. Public Health notes that any calls to schedule an appointment before that time will not be accepted. Additionally, any voicemails requesting a vaccine appointment will also not be accepted.
Health officials said more information on newly eligible groups will be released next week.
