FOND DU LAC COUNTY (NBC 26) — A 2-year-old child is seriously hurt after falling off and getting hit by a tractor Wednesday.
The Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Office said it happened just before 3 p.m. on Hickory Road in the Township of Byron.
A 38-year-old Fond du Lac woman was driving the tractor when she hit a bump in the road, causing the child to fall off and get hit. The child was flown to the Children's Hospital in Milwaukee with serious injuries. The woman driving and another child riding the tractor were not hurt.
The crash is still under investigation.
