OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — Chick-fil-A Oshkosh is slated to open for business on Thursday, Jan. 7, the company announced in a news release Tuesday.
The new restaurant, located off I-41 and Omro Rd., will officially open for business at 6:30 a.m. Chick-fil-A says the new Oshkosh location is expected to bring 120 full- and part-time jobs to the community.
The new location will open for drive-thru service only, as part of safety precautions the restaurant is taking during the coronavirus pandemic. The restaurant company says customers can take advantage of contactless ordering and payment through the Chick-fil-A mobile app.
The restaurant will also skip the traditional grand opening celebration and will instead be surprising 100 "local heroes" the restaurant says is making an impact in Oshkosh. The Chick-fil-A Foundation is also making a donation to a local food bank.
Chick-fil-A Oshkosh is locally owned and operated by Ty Dillon. The Chick-fil-A Oshkosh location also has an official Facebook page.
