MADISON, Wis. — A Dane County Humane Society (DCHS) cat lost its ears from an infection, but luckily, she got a crocheted pair as a replacement.
The cat, named Lady in a Fur Coat, suffered from a chronic infection and had to get her ear flaps removed, according to DCHS. However, a short while later, a DCHS employee took it upon herself to crochet a pair of ears for the cat.
The organization then took to Facebook to share Lady in a Fur Coat's story and hopefully find her a forever home.
Less than 24 hours after the post, Lady in a Fur Coat was adopted.
