GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Authorities said a car that was stolen from the Iola Car Show earlier this summer was recovered in Green Bay.
According to the Waupaca County Sheriff's Office, a black 1968 Ford Mustang with white C-Stripes was reported stolen on the evening of July 9. The car had been purchased at the Iola Car Show.
The Sheriff's Office said the car was recovered in Green Bay on Monday when a business owner saw the Mustang near his property and called authorities. Green Bay Police arrived at the scene and verified it was the same car stolen from Iola. The vehicle was taken back to Waupaca County.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
