ASHWAUBENON (NBC 26) — Brown County United Way is hosting a Campaign Kickoff Monday night.
The kickoff campaign is at Capital Credit Union Park. Gates Open at 5:35 PM and the game will begin at 6:35 PM!
This year’s kickoff will include several new and exciting activities, including the game’s (and campaign season’s) ceremonial first pitch.
Another highlight includes a United We Can food sculpture challenge! Area businesses are being recruited to design and build food sculptures using non-perishable food cans and boxes. Fans attending the game will get to vote on their favorite sculptures.
Following the game, all items used in the sculptures will be donated to local food pantries. Learn about the food sculptures and how you can participate! You can learn more about the rules here.
Throughout the evening United Way will be sharing information about the organization's work and its impact. There will also be an opportunity for fans to participate in some fundraisers to benefit the United Way, including a 50/50 raffle!
