GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- The Brown County Sheriff's Office has released a video compilation of criminal evidence that depicts multiple suspects they're asking the public for help in identifying. The videos capture one suspect firing a weapon outside the Marathon gas station in downtown Green Bay as it is being looted as well as multiple people vandalizing squad cars including a K-9 unit between May 31 and June 1.

"I do think because there's been a gap in the timing that probably some people felt like they got away with it," Lieutenant Kevin Pawlak of Brown County Sheriff's Office Professional Standards said. "It was more of a chance to get all of our ducks in a row and come out with something of a production, like this video ism so that we can really narrow our focus on the worst of the actors and then get the rest of the people that misbehaved that night."

These videos were captured after hundreds peacefully protested throughout downtown Green Bay in the wake of George Floyd's death in Minneapolis Police custody.

"Right to peacefully assemble, right as it says in the constitution, but once you break the law like what happened that night, while it might not be conventional in our arresting you that night, we will," Lt. Pawlak said. "And this shows that we haven't given up on those cases, and we are going to hold you accountable."

The Green Bay Police Department has arrested one person suspected of burglarizing Camera Corner on North Monroe Avenue. In the arrest, Green Bay Police recovered all of the stolen property, worth $15,000.

In the statement and accompanying video, the Sheriff's Office targets six specific suspects. Additionally, they are seeking to identify at least 20 people seen in the Marathon gas station while it was being looted by who they believe to be mostly minors.

"Probably 20-25 people in there at one time so, and some come in pretty quick and leave pretty quick," Lt. Pawlak said. "We're just looking for anyone that knows of anyone or anyone in there that realized it was a bad place to be and got out."

Law enforcement is prioritizing any tips that would lead to finding the male suspect that fired gunshots in the air outside the gas station store.
"We're obviously most concerned with the shooter shooting straight up in the air like he did," Lt. Pawlak said. "Those rounds had to land somewhere. All those people were in danger and didn't even know it."

Nobody was hurt in the shooting.
