Brown County Public Health Department offering free drive-thru flu shot clinics

BROWN COUNTY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- The Brown County Public Health Department is offering a free drive-thru flu shot clinic due to COVID-19.

BCPH will offer its first drive-thru clinic on Thursday, October 22nd from 4 to 6 p.m. at Edison Middle School.

The second will be held Saturday, October 24th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Green Bay West High School.

Vaccinations will be given free of charge to community members ages 6 months and older.

Brown County Executive Troy Streckenbach will receive his yearly flu shot Wednesday during a test run of the clinic to show how easy it is.

Streckenbach and a public health officer will talk about the importance of getting vaccinated for influenza and staying healthy during this unprecedented flu season.

Brown County Public health is offering these free drive-thru clinics to make sure everyone has access to flu shots during this pandemic.
