BROWN COUNTY (NBC 26) -- The Brown County Health Department and local healthcare systems are giving a face and a voice to the people fighting this pandemic.
The Faces of COVID series focuses on the stories of people directly impacted by the coronavirus.
On Wednesday, we heard from frontline providers.
"We're not going to win this by more ICU beds, we're not going to win this by more hospital beds. We're not going to win this by more staff. We win this by coming together, by all of us doing what's right and what is correct,” said Dr. Manar Alshahrouri, a Prevea Health critical care physician. “Unfortunately, a lot of the appropriate smart things to do have become so politicized to the point that even wearing a mask becomes a political statement. It is not."
