BROWN COUNTY (NBC 26) — UPDATE: The Brown County Sheriff's Office says a wanted man is now in custody. Authorities are canceling a previous alert for the search. The sheriff's office didn't release any other details.

PREVIOUS REPORT: The Brown County Sheriff’s Office is looking for any information on the whereabouts of 35-year-old Christopher Charles Jackson. A statement from the Sheriff's Office says he is considered armed and dangerous.

A nationwide arrest warrant has been issued for his arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Sergeant Zak Holschbach of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office.

If you see Jackson, you are asked to not approach him and call 911. Jackson has been charged with multiple counts of first-degree sexual assault, as well as false imprisonment, aggravated battery and battery. The sheriff's office said a handgun was used in the crime.

The sheriff's office said Jackson is knowingly evading apprehension following the most recent crime. He was last seen in a black 2013 Ford Fusion 4-door, bearing Wisconsin registration plate AJG5000. The sheriff's office said Jackson is also a professional truck driver.

The sheriff's office released multiple pictures of Jackson, including an older mug shot from 2012 (far right in the picture above).
