BROWN COUNTY (NBC 26) — A driver dies after losing control and hitting a tree, Brown County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday.
The sheriff's office said the crash happened around 1:17 p.m. in Howard. The driver was identified as a 47-year-old Green Bay resident, who was traveling eastbound on Larson Road approaching South Taylor St.
The sheriff's office said the driver appeared to lose control of the vehicle while negotiating a slight curve in the roadway. The loss of control resulted in the vehicle striking a tree before the vehicle came to a rest.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and no other passengers were present in the vehicle. The sheriff's office said the crash appears to be related to a medical emergency.
There are no charges at this time, and the crash remains under investigation.
