BELLEVUE (NBC 26) — Law enforcement said a two car crash happened in the early morning Saturday. Both drivers were allegedly driving while intoxicated.
The Brown County Sheriff's Department said the crash happened at the intersection of Bellevue Street and Industrial Drive.
The Sheriff's Department said a 1999 Chevrolet Suburban entered the intersection at the same time as a 2005 GMC Envoy when they crashed into each other.
Police identified the Suburban driver as 29-year-old Ulysses Alavez from Green Bay. The Envoy driver was identified as 42-year-old Philip Alan Laskowski from De Pere. Both men were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
According to law enforcement, Alavez was cited for his second OWI and Laskowski was arrested for his fourth OWI.
The Wisconsin State Patrol said it is investigating the crash and OWIs.
