MENASHA, Wis (NBC 26) -- The body of a missing 35-year-old man was pulled from the Fox River Canal in Menasha Thursday afternoon.
According to Menasha Police, a local boater discovered a body floating in the river near the Racine Street Bridge Thursday afternoon. Investigators say the 35-year-old man was reported missing by a family member on May 11th.
The man's name and cause of death have not yet been released. Investigators from Menasha Police and the Winnebago County Coroner are making a preliminary examination of the body to determine the exact cause of death.
Officers do not believe the public is in danger.
