The Big Wheel at Bay Beach Amusement Park will make its first run Tuesday night during a fundraising event.
600 lucky riders will be the first to ride the new Ferris wheel.
There are still tickets available for $50 as part of a tax-deductible donation to the current owners of the wheel, Friends of Bay Beach.
"Can't wait to see everybody on it, young, big, small, old, wheelchair-accessible,” said Bay Beach Amusement Park Manager Jason Arnoldi. “Just excited to share what we've been working on for 11 years."
After tonight, the Big Wheel will belong to Bay Beach, which has been the plan for a long time. Its debut is July 4th.
