ASHWAUBENON — Bay Beach Amusement Park announced Thursday an opportunity to ride the "Big Wheel" on July 2nd. The Ferris wheel is scheduled to officially open July 4.
The wheel is a new 100-foot tall Ferris wheel with 20 gondolas.
The Bay Beach Amusement Park is selling tickets to offer people their first chance to ride the Ferris wheel next Tuesday, "when it makes its first-ever revolutions," the park says in a Facebook post.
The park says each $50 ticket is a tax-deductible donation to Friends of Bay Beach, Inc.
