ASHWAUBENON (NBC 26) — An Ashwaubenon Public Safety squad car was rear-ended by a suspected drunk driver Friday night, authorities said.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety said the officer's car was hit while he was assisting another officer on a traffic stop. The officer was not in the car at the time and no one was seriously hurt.
The driver was arrested for operating while intoxicated.
The public safety officer whose car was hit proceeded to switch to another vehicle and continued his shift, authorities said.
