APPLETON (NBC 26) — On Friday, Appleton Police marked three years since a local man disappeared.
The investigation continues into the disappearance of Nicholas Hietpas, an Appleton man who was reported missing three years ago on April 1.
His vehicle was eventually found in the area of Hwy 64 and Shadow Lake Road, in the Town of Doty, Oconto County.
Nicholas, a 22-year-old white man, was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with green lettering, blue jeans, and brown work boots.
Nicholas may be accompanied by a white German Shepard named Samantha.
