UPDATE: Appleton Police said one male is in custody following an investigation into a disturbance with a weapon in the 2600 Block of North Richmond Street overnight.
Investigators no longer believe there is a threat to the public related to this incident. Investigators encourage anyone in the area of the crime scene to check the area surrounding your home for anything out of place or suspicious.

APPLETON, Wis. (NBC 26) - Appleton Police are searching for a man they believe was involved in a stabbing.
Police were called to the 2600 block of North Richmond Street around 11:00 Thursday night. They found two people there with injuries that appeared to be stab wounds. They were both taken to the hospital with significant injuries.
Police believe the suspect left the scene on foot, and searched the area, but the man has not been located. They believe he was trying to enter homes and vehicles in the area.
Police say the suspect traveled southwest through the area.
