APPLETON (NBC 26) — The Appleton Police Department says it's investigating a fatal two-vehicle accident that occurred Friday night at the intersection of Oneida St and Calumet St.
At around 11 p.m. Friday, Appleton Police said officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Oneida Street and Calumet Street. When officers arrived, they found one vehicle on fire and a second vehicle badly damaged.
One driver died at the scene and the second driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No other passengers were located in either vehicle.
The Wisconsin State Patrol responded and completed accident reconstruction of the scene.
