Appleton International Airport introduces new non-stop flights

APPLETON (NBC 26) — If you are looking for a getaway, the Appleton International Airport is announcing two new summer destinations that are non-stop flights.

Savannah, Georgia and Rapid City, South Dakota are two newest non-stop flights from Appleton International. They are 13th and 14th non-stop travel flights that have been offered at by airport.

“The Savannah flight is geared at sort of that summer getaway. It's going to start May 28th, it's going to operate on Mondays and Fridays. The Rapid City flight is going to operate for 2 weeks starting August 4th and it's timed perfectly to match up with the Sturgis Bike Rally,” said Abe Webber, the Appleton International Airport Director.

The Savannah summer seasonal flight starts May 28th and operates Mondays and Fridays. The Rapid City flight operates for two weeks only starting August 4th, the idea is travel for the Sturgis Bike Rally. This flight will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
