APPLETON, Wis. — Appleton is announcing a snow emergency for overnight parking on city streets.
Mayor Hanna issued a Class I Snow Emergency starting at 10 p.m. tonight through 5 a.m. Friday.
According to the City of Appleton's Twitter post, that means there will be no overnight parking and Appleton Police will not grant any special permissions.
The City of Appleton's website says overnight parking is prohibited on all city streets to allow crews to clear the snow safely.
Anyone who violates the restriction could get ticketed or towed.
