At Memorial Park, dozens of families came out and celebrate the holiday weekend.
Several food vendors were on site and different musical acts were expected to perform throughout the event.
A great opportunity for some family-fun and a return to normalcy after the last nearly year and a half.
For Sharon Fuhrman, a local Oshkosh vendor she shared with us some of the children toys she was selling.
“Oh we are selling all kinds of novelties like guns, sunglasses, umbrellas, bubble pops, glow in the dark balloons. A nice day and a lot of customers, good customers, and lots of kids. And I enjoy doing it. I work with them every year but this year is the first year in Appleton,” Fuhrman said.
The firework show presented by Festival Foods is expected to begin at 9:15 p.m. on Saturday.
