APPLETON, Wis. (NBC 26) — The Appleton Area School District will be publishing their "more robust COVID-19 Dashboard" by 6 p.m. CT on their school website. You can find the new dashboard here.
According to an email shared with families on Friday, the dashboard will be updated daily Monday-Friday at 6 p.m. The dashboard will include "confirmed, positive cases of COVID-19 in our AASD staff or students as reported to the District" as well as quarantines. Per the email, "contact tracing will only be conducted for AASD household members of the positive case. A current quarantine case indicates that an individual AASD student or staff member has been ordered to quarantine because they are a household member of a COVID-19 positive individual who is an AASD staff member or student."
The District Leadership Team plans to discuss the new COVID-19 dashboard at Monday's Board of Education meeting that begins at 6 p.m., giving parents little time to review any freshly published data before the agenda reaches the topic on item 5.
