MILWAUKEE, Wis. (NBC 26) — MILWAUKEE — 3-month-old boy Anthony L. Crudup Jr., who went missing early Monday, has been found safe, Milwaukee police confirm.

The AMBER Alert that was issued for him, as authorities were concerned he had been abducted, has now been canceled.

Milwaukee police said during a 2nd press briefing that an investigative lead brought officers to a home in the 1000 block of 44th Street just after 1 p.m. Several people are in custody, police said, and they are determining their involvement with the missing child. Police added that two people who were in the same home when the child disappeared were detained.

Police said that the child is being medically cleared but described the child as safe, and the child is in the process of being reunited with his mother.

TMJ4's Tony Atkins recorded video showing police arresting a person near where the child was found safe. Police have not released details regarding arrests.

A baby inside a carrier was also seen outside the home, Atkins reported.

Police initially reported Crudup Jr. was last seen in the 4300 block of W. Marion Street.

Officials thought he may be with Vonaisha Washington, 15, who was last seen traveling on foot. However, police have since located her and determined she was not involved.

During a quick press conference Wednesday afternoon, police said they have followed up on several tips but have not located Anthony.

Officials also shared details on the call they got about the missing child, saying the caller had let several people stay at her home and then fell asleep. When she woke, she noticed the people were gone and her son was missing.

Police said then they were looking for an unknown 15-year-old girl who is 5'2", 120 pounds and has brown hair. She was last seen wearing green shorts, a pink shirt, and an olive jacket.
