GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Workers at soon-to-be closed call center Alorica are speaking out about the way they heard the news of the closure.
"It call came as a big shock," said Tony Novara, a worker who has been with Alorica for five years. "They took us in a few at a time and told us."
Alorica confirmed to NBC26 its plans to close the Green Bay location. They did not provide a reason why. Workers say their last day will be February 28th.
"It's tough, we are all still processing it," Novara said.
More than 100 jobs will be affected by this closure. Downstairs from the call center is the Brown County Job Center. Novara says he plans to visit there as a way to find a new job, but says he will do so in the new year.
"I'll wait till after the holidays," Novara said. "Right now I still have to work."
NBC 26 is waiting a reply from Alorica to provide more information on the closure.
