GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — On Saturday, a local group raised awareness on veteran post traumatic stress disorder
(PTSD) and honored the lives and services of those lost to suicide.
Saturday morning kicked off the 9th annual 2021 Veteran Suicide Awareness March put on by “H.O.O.A.H”, a veterans organization.
Dozens came out to participate and shed light on this important issue.
Those organizing the event say it's incredibly important for veterans to know they're not alone and that there is indeed help.
The march will took place in two formats: virtual and in-person.
There is a 20 mile march and a two mile one as well.
