NEENAH — Dozens of people gathered in the Fox Valley for a 12 mile bike ride as part of the best friend bike tour.
The tour went through the Fox Valley's countryside, including a stop of the trestle bridge. The goal of the event is to match at risk youth with caring mentors.
"Typically they are more physically active," said Johnna Vandeurzen, the organizer of best friends in Neenah Menasha. "They are better able to resist peer pressure."
Vandeurzen added they have around 60 children wating to be matched.
