Kwik trip is recalling its Kitchen Cravings Strawberry and Mixed Berry Parfaits.
The La Crosse based company is recalling the 8.25 oz cup parfaits because they may contain a trace of undeclared peanuts.
Kwik Trip became aware of the situation on July 21, 2016 and removed all the recalled parfaits from their stores.
The recall was initiated after peanuts were discovered in granola mix from an outside supplier.
The problem has been fixed and no adverse reactions have been reported.
The recalled Kitchen Cravings Strawberry Parfaits are in an 8.25 oz cup with the UPC CODE 3977918435. The recalled Kitchen Cravings Strawberry Parfaits are in an 8.25 oz. cup with the UPC CODE 3977918436. The parfaits were sold at Kwik Trip and Kwik Star convenience stores in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. They have a sell by date on or before 7/31/2016.
Consumers who are allergic to peanuts and have purchased the Strawberry or Mixed Berry Parfait cups on or before 7/21/2016 are urged to return them to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 608-781-8988, this line is open 24 hours a day.
