Brown County authorities charged a Kaukauna man Friday with felony hit and run.
A pick-up truck on Wednesday ran a stop sign at Fair Road and Hwy. 57 in Wrightstown, hit a car, then the truck’s driver ran away, according to court documents.
Crews took two people in the other vehicle to a hospital, court documents said.
The driver of the truck later contacted dispatch, court documents said.
Authorities then picked up the suspect, identified as 27-year-old Steven Hoelzel, according to court documents.
Hoelzel does not have a valid driver’s license, according to court paperwork.
He has two prior OWI convictions, a prosecutor said in court Friday.
Hoelzel is out of jail on a $1,000 cash bond, according to online records.
