Governor Scott Walker has appointed Attorney General Brad Schimel to serve as a judge on the Waukesha County Circuit Court, according to a statement.
“Schimel has shown a commitment to the rule of law and the State of Wisconsin. He will continue to faithfully serve our state as Waukesha County Circuit Court judge," the Governor said in a prepared statement.
The announcement from the Governor's office comes one day after Schimel conceded the election race to his Democrat opponent, Josh Kaul.
