Four people, including two children, are injured following a bus crash in Shawano County on Monday morning.
According to a news release from Wis DOT, at approximately 7:25 a.m. a school bus was traveling eastbound on Church Road when a passenger car was traveling southbound on Sugar Bush road.
The passenger car, 2001 Pontiac Grand Am, failed to stop at the stop sign and proceeded into the intersection and collided with the school bus. The bus was pushed off the roadway down into the ditch.
The driver of the passenger vehicle suffered minor injuries.
Wis DOT says the driver of the bus and two children were transported by ambulance to the hospital with minor injuries. According to the Shawano County Sheriff's Office, the school bus driver and one child were transported from the scene with non-life threatening injuries.
An additional child was transported from school to be checked for a non-life threatening injury. The driver of the Pontiac was treated at the scene.
The Sheriff's Office says children not brought to a medical facility were transported to school.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
