The Appleton Fire department was called to a early Tuesday morning garage fire that was attached to a three-unit apartment.
Officials say the fire spread to the attic and second floor causing heavy damage.
Only two-units were occupied when the fire broke out. Four adults and six children are without a home since the apartment is no longer inhabitable. The Red Cross is assisting the family.
One firefighter was treated for exertion on scene after battling the fire.
