Wisconsin families stand united with those in Manchester. For one innkeeper in Door County the incident is close to home.
Michael Goldstone, who runs the Church Hill Inn in Sister Bay, is from the United kingdom. His family is ok, but he is saddened for those families who lost someone.
"For the families there, this can obviously be an event that is beyond words,” Goldstone said. “Its absolutely tragic."
Michael Goldstone grew up in Portsmouth England about 4.5 hours from Manchester. He believes his family in Portsmouth and friends in Manchester are ok, because he has not heard anything through social media.
However, with teenager nieces, who may attend concerts like the one targeted, the tragedy hits home.
"I have two nieces that live in England,” Goldstone said. “One is sixteen. One is nineteen. Obviously when something like this happens we fear that it could be one of them that's been involved."
Goldstone said he visits once every two years. He will visit again next year and is not too concerned about his safety.
