The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) reported 685 new COVID-19 cases and one additional death in relation to the virus Sunday afternoon.
State health officials said 11.2% of coronavirus tests came back positive Sunday. This is almost 4% more than Saturday's test results.
DHS said a little over 8,700 cases remain active in Wisconsin. About 85% of people who tested positive for the virus have since recovered.
Another 29 people infected with coronavirus were hospitalized, bringing the state total to 5,304 people.
