MADISON (NBC 26) -- Wisconsin health officials confirm 72 positive cases of coronavirus in the state. Gov. Evers has ordered a statewide ban of all public gatherings of 10 or more.
Gov. Tony Evers has also ordered the statewide closure of all non-essential businesses, restaurants, and bars due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The directive builds on a previous order from the governor's office to limit all public gatherings to 50 people or fewer in Wisconsin.
I know what this means for our business community and the struggle they and their workers will face in the coming weeks. We are committed to being a partner to you to ensure we are doing everything we can to assist during these uncertain times.
