ThedaCare announced Thursday that it will soon offer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for children ages 5 to 11.

This comes after Prevea and Bellin Health made similar announcements Wednesday. It follows approval of the vaccine from national and state health departments.

ThedaCare will be offering the Pfizer vaccine for children ages 5 to 11 at locations across the service area, including in Appleton, Berlin, Neenah, New London, Shawano and Waupaca, as well as some primary care offices. ThedaCare says appointments will be available at multiple locations starting Nov. 9.

ThedaCare will manage COVID-19 vaccine scheduling for people primarily through MyThedaCare/My Chart.
