MADISON (NBC 26) -- Fifteen new deaths related to coronavirus were reported Friday by Wisconsin health officials. It's the highest number of reported coronavirus deaths in the state since June 9.
832 new coronavirus cases were reported in Wisconsin on Friday, leaving the total number of confirmed cases in the state at 52,940. The percent of those cases who have recovered went up on Friday to 80%. There are now 9,671 active cases in the state.
14,547 coronavirus tests came back negative on Friday. The percent positive rate, the rate of coronavirus tests returning a positive result, was also down from 6.1% on Thursday to 5.4% on Friday.
