More than half Wisconsin's population now fully vaccinated against COVID-19

MADISON (NBC 26) — More than 50 percent of Wisconsin's population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

New data released by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services show 50.1% of the total population has completed the coronavirus vaccine series.

The news on vaccines comes as new COVID cases in Wisconsin continue an upward trend. DHS reported 1,201 new cases on Monday and 3 new deaths.

The disease activity for coronavirus remains high throughout the majority of Wisconsin.
