More than 3 million COVID-19 vaccines administered in Wisconsin

MADISON (NBC 26) — As of Saturday, more than 3 million COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in Wisconsin.

New numbers from the state Department of Health Services show the Pfizer version of the COVID vaccine having the most shots in arms, at more than 1.6 million doses administered. Moderna was second with more then `1.3 million and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine was at more than 80,700 on Saturday.

Nearly 33% of Wisconsinites have received at least one shot of a coronavirus vaccine, with the majority of those vaccinated aged 65 and over. Nearly 20% of Wisconsin residents have completed the vaccine series, as of Saturday.
