GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Schools across the country are starting to launch remote learning plans. Some districts will be closed for the rest of the year so many parents will be adapting to the homeschooling lifestyle.
The Executive Director with the National Home School Association, Allen Weston, says it's important parents are patient with their children. This is a big transition for everyone.
Weston encourages having a remote learning plan to help make sure no one is left behind. He says this is an opportunity parents can take advantage of and help find your child find the joy in learning.
If you need help you can find resources at the National Home School Association's website. They have cut annual membership from $39 to $10 for the year.
