HSHS St. Mary's staff applaud released patient who survived coronavirus

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital Medical Center in Green Bay held a celebratory send-off for a patient who was released Thursday and is recovering from coronavirus.

The hospital said in a news release that Roberto is a 64-year-old Green Bay man who spent the last seven days hospitalized at St. Mary’s for coronavirus. Roberto is now on the path to recovery at home.

Staff applauded Roberto as he was released from the hospital.

According to the news release, Roberto asks the public to never ignore symptoms if you’re feeling ill, and stay home to prevent the spread of this virus.
