According to state health officials, Wisconsin saw the highest number of coronavirus cases recorded in a single day on Saturday. The previous record was 733 new cases on May 29.
Health officials said over 10% of test results came back positive Saturday afternoon, seeing an increase of 738 new cases. This brings the state's total to 31,055 positive cases.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services said this is the fifth day in a row the state has seen over 550 cases.
The Department said 19 more people with the virus were hospitalized, but no new deaths were reported.
