COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin trend downward, almost 600 deaths

Wisconsin Department of Health Services said 173 people tested positive for coronavirus Sunday afternoon, bringing the state total to 18,403 confirmed cases.

The Department said there was 7,368 tests with only 2.3% testing positive Sunday. This is almost half the percentage of positive cases compared to 5.3% cases Saturday and 5.4% cases Friday.

Health officials report 4 more deaths caused by the virus, putting the state's total at almost 600 deaths.
