While not quite as high as Tuesday, the number of new cases and negative test results reported Wednesday for Wisconsin was still significant.
Wisconsin reported 540 new coronavirus cases Wednesday, with 12,068 negative test results resulting in a percent positive rate of 4.3%.
Two new deaths were reported as well on Wednesday. The coronavirus death toll for Wisconsin now sits at 786.
These new numbers come on the same day that Dane County shut down indoor service at bars due to concerns regarding COVID-19.
