BROWN COUNTY (NBC 26) -- Brown County health officials announced Monday the county now has a total of 45 cases of coronavirus. Six of those cases are from Oneida Nation.
Most of the new cases are believed to be from community spread, however three of the cases traveled domestically. The youngest person who is a recorded case is 20 years old.
One of the cases is a 21-year-old pregnant woman. Health officials are closely monitoring her and her child.
Two other people who have tested positive were still working while they were ill. Health officials said they were working in a health care facility, but not a hospital. There is a significant investigation into who those two people came into contact with.
Ted Shove with the Brown County Health Department is urging employers to look at their policies of allowing employees to work while sick. Employers are encouraged to screen employees. Health officials in Brown County are also encouraging people to stay home if they are sick.
