BROWN COUNTY (NBC 26) -- 55 new cases since Tuesday bring Brown County’s total number of coronavirus cases to 968; Oneida Nation is still reporting 7.
The Health Department says 140 people are out of isolation, meaning they no longer show symptoms and aren’t considered to be a threat for spreading the virus.
Leaders say 37 people are currently hospitalized, two more than Tuesday.
The county also reported a smaller increase of cases at local meat packing facilities, where previous clusters of cases had been reported. There are now more than 260 at JBS, 170 at American Foods Group and 35 at Salm Partners.
Health officials also released new information on the man who is the third coronavirus death in Brown County. He was 67 years old and lived in 54304 zip code.
