Packers star Aaron Rodgers talked about Nike’s new ad campaign featuring controversial quarterback Colin Kaepernick on Wednesday.
The shoe company is set to air an ad voiced by Kaepernick. Rodgers gave a straightforward statement when asked about the campaign.
“Nike has the right to put anybody they want in their ads. You know, I think there's been enough reaction from other people. I personally, I wear Adidas so I'm not in the Nike tent anymore but no, I think the ad kind of speaks for itself,” Rodgers said.
Last season Rodgers called fans to join the Packers wholinked arms during the National Anthem during the Packers’ home game against the Bears.
