New London woman seriously injured after pedestrian vs. vehicle crash

NEW LONDON, Wis. — An 83-year-old New London woman suffered serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle driven by a 52-year-old Kaukauna man.

New London Police were called to the intersection of Wolf River Avenue and Pearl Street Saturday afternoon for a vehicle versus pedestrain crash.

The woman was crossing Wolf River Avenue when police say she was hit by the man driving the vehicle. The woman was taken to ThedaCare Hospital in Neenah for serious injuries.

New London Police say as of Saturday night the woman was in stable condition. The man was not injured. Police are investigating the incident and at this time do not believe alcohol to be a factor.
