CRIVITZ, Wis. — At least 50 firefighters battled a blaze Tuesday night in Crivitz at Crivitz Lumber and Rental.

Firefighters say those represent almost a dozen departments.

They say the goal is to contain the fire if possible to one main building.

As they fight the fire there is concern for the safety of crews in the dangerous cold as well as putting a strain on the Crivitz community water supply.

Firefighters say they are taking turns in warm areas to continue to work through the freezing cold.

As they fight the fire they are working to thaw their water lines and trucks. First responders tell us the American Red Cross is on scene.

Meanwhile, cell phone video from witnesses Steve and Mimi Weiting show flames tearing through the business.

They tell us smoke from the fire was visible for five miles away.

Meanwhile, at least 93 customers were without power tonight in Crivitz.

Officials say it could be after midnight Wednesday before power is back on.

An emergency warming shelter has been opened for anyone needing shelter due to the fire.
