LUXEMBURG, Wis. — The Kewaunee County Sheriff's Department received a call reporting a tractor on fire on Tonet Road north of County Road K in the town of Luxemburg, around 12:55 Saturday morning.
It was reported that someone may have still been in the tractor, and it had rolled and hit the power lines.
Sheriff's deputies, and Luxemburg Fire & Rescue responded to the scene. The fire was extinguished and the tractor was towed to a stable location, where firefighters used the jaws of life to enter the tractor.
A 54-year-old Green Bay man found inside the tractor was pronounced dead on the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
